First of all best carnitas I've ever tried, they got tripa too! Their breakfast are so delicious, and generous portions as well. We always get Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles (green and red are equally good) And they have handmade tortillas, what else can you ask for? Their cafe de olla tastes sooo good! We moved out of Fresno area, but anytime we can we make excuses to go so we can go eat here.

1/3/2025 My second time trying Zamora and it's becoming my new favorite place to order from. I've never had papas tacos, sooooooo good. The flour tortillas might be my favorite. Next time I'll try the family chicken special.

Restaurant was packed on a Sunday morning. I ordered the chicken soup and hubby ordered the taco plate. It sounds like this restaurant is known for their carnitas but the carnitas taco that we had were not as flavorful as we liked. Plus I like it when there's some crispy edges and these did not. A bit chewier than I'd like and so the adobada tacos were much better. The chips and salsa were okay and I have to say the chicken soup had great flavor. Service was excellent and fast. I love authentic Mexican and since I don't get to eat it all the time, I was happy with our experience. I would come back here again.

The tacos de papa are my favorite. Their salsa; especially the green salsa is the best. There were too many bones in the birria de chivo, my daughter wasn't impressed. Chile Colorado could have used more spice in my opinion. Don't leave without buying some chicharrones, those are good. The staff is always so nice.

We wanted to eat before the Zoo-lights since it's right in front of Zamora's Carnitas. I was gladly surprised by the good food and the great service. It's a small place but I saw people ordering and picking up. Also some people stay and eat there like us. The flavor is real Mexican. They have the touch. It differs from every state of the Mexican Republic. Every state has their own ways of serving the tacos or the sopes or anything. But the flavor was definitely there. Highly recommend. The prices are great! Very reasonable. We ordered a child plate with taco rice and beans. He devoted everything. He said it was good. My daughter got two sopes and she said that they were pretty good. The meat was flavorful and the beans were home made. I ordered a Gordita and the small fried potato taquitos. Everything was so good. I wanted more beans in my Gordita but it was ok. I really loved that it was freshly made and that sauces made it even better. They brought me the red and the green. I loved the green. The red was more spicy. Like I mention highly recommend. We will come back for sure.

11/16/24 I called and ordered a ham breakfast burrito with jalapeños and extra hot sauce on the side. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 10 min. I went to get it shortly later. Arrived and they were busy! Greeted by nice worker, let her know of order I called on and it as handed over after I paid for it with a thank you! Happy Sunday everyone! Breakfast burrito split. My half was DELICIOUS! Flavorful, spicy and their hot sauce included was really hot and GREAT! I'm sure mother will feel the same when she gets up to have hers. Good service & GREAT breakfast burrito with hot sauces! Highly recommended!

Another amazing experience. Breakfast burrito with chorizo was the best. I ordered through door dash and forgot to designate the meat choice, and the service was great - they immediately called to clarify and recommended the chorizo. Potato tacos always a go-to snack. I'd recommend.

I considered not doing this post only cause I thought about keeping it to myself, but that wouldn't be fair to Zamora's. I was introduced to this spot by my coworkers, so glad they did! I had been searching for a restaurant that makes handmade flour tortillas and I found the gold mine! Not only do they make handmade tortillas but they also have delicious crispy Chicharron. Everything I have tried here is delicious! The restaurant although small, is very clean! The service is always great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is officially my go to spot for Mexican food in Fresno. It's in a rough area of Fresno, but if it ain't in the hood is it really good? Lol
